"We booked a place in advance for 9 people, when we arrived at the restaurant we were surprised to find out how full the place was with mainly local diners - which indicates the quality of the food. We ordered a large selection of dishes from the menu, all of them were excellent. I would like to give a good mention to the mixed fried seafood. The food was delicious and incredibly fresh. The only downside to the restaurant was the state of cleanliness in the toilets which was disgusting. Not suitable for a restaurant of this level."

"One of the best meals I had in Sardinia. The restaurant phone number was not working so we decided to drive over and take our chances however it was closed on a Wednesday although Google mentions it as open. So we arrived the next day at opening for dinner however they were fully booked until late. We came back that evening and had a great meal! Spaghetti with Lobster is their specialty and a must, the spaghetti with clams and cheese stuffed ravioli were also perfectly executed. Desserts were also crowd pleasers. Definitely worth the trouble it took to dine there."

"I only detract one star because it is definitely not family friendly. The ambiance caters to couples. Get a sitter for a better experience. They were very tolerant of our 2 year old but I felt uncomfortable being surrounded by mostly other couples trying to enjoy themselves. The food was excellent. Really enjoyed the fish of the day, bass and the deserts were the love language of the night. The gelato was not just a few scoops it was a Sunday! Absolutely wonderful! Thank you!"

"I have had multiple amazing dining experiences at Da Barbara in Solanas. I've been coming to this restaurant for more than 8 years. The restaurant has an excellent wine list, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. In addition to the menu, they offer a selection of fresh fish from the daily catch, which they cook to perfection. The spaghetti with crab, lobster, and crayfish are exceptionally delicious. The fregola is also amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful and memorable meal."
